Milkwood is a 3 bedroom fully self contained Thredbo chalet, one of the bedroom is a huge loft bedroom. There are 2 full bathrooms with separate toilets. The chalet has recently been updated and now offers leather lounges and rustic dining table which seats 8. There is a combustion fire to keep everyone toasty warm. The kitchen comes fully equipped. Outside is a BBQ and room at the front door for 2 cars.

Milkwood is located in the Woodridge 2 area of Thredbo close to all amenities. It is a short walk to Friday Flats and into the village centre. There is a separate ski and boot drying room.

This property is very well equipped and just love the proper drying room with boot warmers. Best thing EVER. Spacious bedrooms and the loft area is huge with great ginormous beanbags. All the adult-kids loved them. 2 carparks and new BBQ much appreciated. Have stayed in 15+ properties in Thredbo, this is in the top 3 list, definitely one of the best. Kylie was super helpful as we had no bathmats. Personally delivered to us the next day with extra towels. Much appreciated.

I found the property management staff and maintenance team extremely helpful, efficient and thoughtful. We found that the heating unit in the drying room in our chalet was not working. Within 3 hours of contacting Janet (Property Manager) the matter was fixed with no fuss. We also received a top-up of firewood without even asking for it !!! The team "behind the scenes" certainly made our stay a smooth and relaxing one.

Couple of minor points. Pre-arrival email was very clear that access would NOT be any earlier than 4pm. On the day the SMS entry code arrived just after 1pm. It would have been nice to know there was a chance of early check-in as we would have aimed to be in Thredbo earlier just in case.

Our group enjoyed their stay at Milkwood and Thredbo during the Blues festival. The chalet was a short, scenic walk to the village centre. The accommodation was modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. We would consider staying at Milkwood again.

MILKWOOD is located on your right just before the end of Summit Way before you reach the laneway for Granite Peaks, Summit Way forks off Riverview Terrace in The Woodridge area.

Coming from the Friday Flat end of town turn right into the Woodridge area which is opposite the Thredbo Leisure Centre, turn immediately left into Riverview Terrace and follow the road when it forks right up to Summit Way.
